Daily maintenance points of bottle filling machine

Feb 25, 2025

As an indispensable automation equipment on modern production lines, the maintenance of bottle filling machine is essential to ensure production efficiency and product quality. The following are the specific steps for bottle filling machine maintenance:

1. Daily cleaning
- After each use, use a soft cloth or soft brush to clean the dust and residue on the surface of the machine.
- Pay special attention to cleaning the packaging area and conveyor belt to avoid material residue affecting the performance of the equipment.

2. Check fasteners
- Regularly check all fasteners on the machine, including screws, bolts and locking devices, to ensure that they are not loose to prevent further damage caused by vibration.

3. Lubrication maintenance
- Lubricate the moving parts of the machine according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Select the appropriate lubricant and ensure that the lubrication points are fully lubricated to reduce wear.

4. Electrical system inspection
- Regularly check electrical connections and components to ensure that there are no exposed wires or damaged cables.
- Check the power socket and terminal blocks to ensure that the connection is secure.

5. Weighing system calibration
- If the bottle filling machine has a weighing function, calibrate it regularly to ensure the accuracy of the weighing.
- Follow the manufacturer's calibration procedures and contact a professional for calibration if necessary.

6. Sealing and cutting component inspection
- For the sealing machine, check whether the heating strips and cutting blades are sharp, remove any residue, and replace or sharpen them if necessary.

7. Clean or replace the filter
- If the machine has an air filtration system, clean or replace the air filter regularly to maintain good air quality and equipment performance.

8. Sensor and photoelectric eye inspection
- Make sure all sensors and photoelectric eyes are clean and functioning properly. These parts are essential for the effective operation of the machine.

9. Software system maintenance
- If the bottle filling machine is equipped with control software, update the software regularly to fix known errors and improve performance.

10. Conveyor belt inspection
- Check the conveyor belt for wear, cracks, etc., and adjust or replace it if necessary.

11. Maintenance log records
- Record the details of each maintenance and repair, including the date, maintenance content and replaced parts.
- This helps track the maintenance history of the machine and predict future maintenance needs.

12. Regular maintenance
- Regularly arrange relevant technicians to perform overall inspections and maintenance.
- Relevant technicians can identify and solve potential problems to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.

13. Spare parts preparation
- Prepare some common spare parts such as seals, blades and filters according to the manufacturer's recommendations so that they can be quickly replaced when needed.

14. Operation training
- Ensure that operators receive appropriate training and understand the correct operation of the equipment and basic maintenance knowledge.

15. Pipeline cleanliness
- All pipelines, especially those that are in direct or indirect contact with the material, must be kept clean, washed weekly, drained daily, and sterilized every time.

16. Ensure the filling machine is clean
- The material tank should be scrubbed and sterilized to ensure that there is no scale and bacteria in the parts that come into contact with the material.

17. Sterilization during production
- To ensure the biological stability of bottled beverages during production, sterilization is the best method.
- Control the sterilization time and temperature to ensure the final effect, while avoiding too long sterilization time or too high temperature to reduce beverage oxidation.
- After sterilization, cool as soon as possible so that the temperature does not exceed 35°C.

18. Low temperature filling
- Low temperature filling is the minimum requirement for beverage filling. Generally, beverages are not easy to produce foam in a low temperature environment, which is conducive to filling.
- Before each operation of the liquid filling machine, use 0-1°C water to reduce the temperature of the liquid filling machine tank and the conveying pipeline. When the filling temperature exceeds 4°C, the temperature should be lowered before filling.

By following these maintenance steps, you can not only extend the service life of the bottler, but also reduce unexpected downtime, improve production efficiency, and ensure product quality.
