Maintenance tips for bottle blowing machines
Jan 20, 2025
The bottle blowing machine is a mechanical device used to make plastic bottles. In order to ensure its long-term stable operation, regular maintenance and care are very necessary. The following are some maintenance tips for bottle blowing machines:
Daily maintenance
1. Clean the equipment: Clean the bottle blowing machine regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the equipment. Especially the moving parts and easily contaminated parts should be cleaned with appropriate detergents.
2. Check each part: Before the start of each shift, check whether the moving parts are firm, whether the screws are loose and fall off, especially the parts with strong impact force, and whether the belt drive part is abnormal.
3. Check the air source and power supply: Ensure that the high-pressure air source, low-pressure air source, power supply and water source are normal. Check whether the emergency stop switch, safety door switch, and protection device detection switch are normal.
4. Lubricate the moving parts: Before the start of each shift, lubricating oil must be added to each moving part once. For example, the robot, robot guide rail, opening and closing mold guide rail and other parts.
5. Check the heating system: Check whether the heating head feeding and dropping parts work normally. If the embryo is not inserted in place, adjust the nut of the embryo pressing device.
6. Check the lamp: Check whether the lamp is damaged or broken. Replace it in time.
7. Check the pneumatic components: Check whether each pneumatic component is leaking and whether the movement is flexible.
8. Check the triplet: Check whether the triplet is leaking abnormally, whether it is blocked, and whether the water storage capacity of the water cup is too much.
Regular maintenance
1. Weekly lubrication: Lubricate the swing arm and other parts once a week. Check the main reducer and heating reducer for lack of oil frequently. The main bearing can be oiled every 2-3 months.
2. Tighten the screws every month: Tighten the screws on the equipment once a month to ensure that all parts are firmly connected.
3. Clean the mold regularly: The mold of the plastic blow molding machine must be cleaned and polished regularly to ensure the quality of the bottle.
4. Check the solenoid valve: If there is any abnormality in the solenoid valve of the plastic blow molding machine, it should be cleaned in time.
Special situation handling
1. Emergency situation: In case of emergency, you can press the emergency stop button to brake urgently. Then analyze the cause of the formation according to the on-site situation, find the problem and deal with it quickly.
2. Abnormal noise: When the plastic bottle blowing machine is running, you must pay close attention to whether the machine has abnormal noise, so as to find it early, stop the machine in time and deal with it early.
3. Exhaust problem: If the bottle cannot be taken out of the mold after being blown, it may be due to abnormal exhaust setting or exhaust valve problem. It is necessary to check the exhaust time setting and the spring and seal of the exhaust valve.
Safety precautions
1. Check before starting: When starting the machine, you must start the motor first, and delay starting the heating machine for 30 seconds to prevent voltage fluctuations. Before starting the heating, confirm whether the cooling water has been turned on.
2. Prevent injury: When starting the machine, you must ensure that the mechanical part is in good condition, there is no one inside the machine, and there is no foreign matter. Especially the crank position, so as not to hurt people.
3. Operation safety: After normal operation, do not put any part of the body into the machine to avoid injury by the robot. If the machine makes abnormal noise, slow down and stop to observe.
The above maintenance tips can effectively extend the service life of the bottle blowing machine, reduce failures and downtime, and ensure the smooth progress of the production process.
